Top 15 Henry Ford Quotes

Ford was born on July 30th in 1863 in Dearborn, Michigan. His father was born to a family of English and his mother was a Belgian immigrant, he had four siblings; Margaret, Jane, William, and Robert. His family had wanted him to take over the family business of farming but he had no desire to do so, stating: “I never had any particular love for the farm – It was the mother on the farm I loved.” Henry died in his hometown at the age of 84 on April 7th 1947.

Henry Ford is credited with changing the world of the automobile by introducing mass invention and making the car available to the average American. At the beginning of the 20th century the car was a complicated machine which required a constant chauffeur thus it was merely a plaything for the rich of the world. Therefore it is important to note that Ford did not invent the actual car himself as many people believe, but what he did do is equally genius if even not more impressive…

He was intent on building a simple car that the average worker could afford. He thus created the Model T and the assembly line. These creations changed society and created the path for the way we live today. He transformed the automobile from a toy of opulence to a car that was in the economic reach of the average American. He created a new thesis to which he sold cars; instead of pocketing huge profits he sold cars at a lower price – this resulted in more cars being sold and a stable increase of earnings. The assembly line also perfected the process of the manufacturing of the automobile. Instead of a skilled workman going to a car and individually working on it the car came to the worker who performed the same task again and again, meaning time building the Model T was reduced drastically.

It is fair to say Henry Ford is one of the greatest inventors the world has seen and there are many Henry Ford quotes

that give a greater insight into the genius.
